Effective from Monday, 11th April, 2022, there has been a change in the price of personal account on Nationton Republic. Before this date, personal account was GHS10 per year. However, starting from 11th April, 2022, there has been a change in the price of personal account and so from now onwards, the price of personal account is GHS50 per year. This is a change implemented by the management of Nationton Information Technology (Nationton I.T) and is approved by Nation Kyei Long-Freeman, also known as Kyei Osei Yaw, the CEO of Nationton I.T. 

The change in the price was announced on the official Facebook page of Nationton Republic as well as the official Facebook group of Nationton Republic and also the official WhatsApp group for over a week before being implemented. The personal account on Nationton Republic represents a package of services that Nationton Republic provides. Thus when a person subscribes for the package, the person gets access to all the services within the package. The services within the personal account package package are (1) a year-long access to the Nationton Republic online marketplace and (2) a year-long access to the special web application. The FOJ, developed by Nationton I.T which a subscriber can download to build website visually without having to write the codes of the website.

Following the increase the price of personal account, there has been an increase in the commission, which Nationton I.T pays to a customer when through the customer's referral link, someone subscribes for the personal account. The commission has increased from GHS9 to GHS40. Therefore, any member of Nationton Republic will earn commission of GHS40 if through his or her referral link, someone subscribes for the personal account.

According to Kyei Osei Yaw, the CEO of Nationton I.T, the increase in the price of the personal account is aimed at improving the quality of the service of Nationton Republic for the benefit of both the customers of Nationton Republic and Nationton Republic as a whole. Specifically, Nationton I.T aims at improving the effectiveness of its online marketplace in order to help the members of Nationton Republic get more customers faster and sell more of the products and services they advertise on the Nationton Republic online marketplace. In addition, Nationton I.T aims at building effective mobile app for Nationton Republic.

The price change will not affect existing members of Nationton Republic, rather it will affect incoming customers. Therefore a person having an active personal account on Nationton Republic does not need to pay anything extra to maintain his or her account. However, a person who is yet to subscribe for personal account will pay GHS50 per year to have access to the personal account package. However, if an existing member's account expires, then the existing member may renew his or her personal account at the new price.
